Margaret River Wine
Margaret River is located in Western Australia. The wine industry was firmly established in the early 70's.
The Cabernet Sauvignon is highly distinguished. The Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon are the other main varieties of grapes. The wines of this region are considered of great concentration and intensity, without losing finesse.
This region has a maritime climate raw, and marked as the Mediterranean because of its rains. Its soils are mainly sandy gravel and rocks from gneissic granite.
